DAHI DIVINE

Saxophonist - Artist - Composer - Producer

For over 20 years and multiple album releases, Dahi Divine is pushing the boundaries of music with his saxophone playing, composition, and production.

Being a part of the early 2000’s hip-hop generation and influenced by the tapestry of the local music scene and vibrant cultural hub of Philadelphia, he found his voice.  Through the expressive medium of the saxophone Dahi's music embraces the improvisational spirit of jazz and urban poetry of hip-hop.

Throughout his professional career Dahi has captivated audiences worldwide with his dynamic performances and genre-defying sound.

One notable achievement is his selection, by Jazz At Lincoln Center, to perform a premier at the Summergarden in New York, an honor reserved for "buzzworthy" emerging artist.  Others are his collaborations with an array of artists, like H.E.R. and Solange, and established icons such as Dave Matthews, Rihanna, and Ellie Goulding.  Dahi is an anomaly.

This year, Dahi won a Grammy Award due to his contribution on Tye Tribbett's Grammy Winning Best Live Gospel Album of the Year "All Things New Live In Orlando".

Dahi’s compositions include soulful melodies and intricate rhythms grounded in his jazz roots. Whether he's crafting lush soundscapes in the studio or igniting the stage with electrifying performances, his passion for pushing musical boundaries knows no bounds.
